100% Fully Remote STA Level 3 Pool Plant Operators course 100% Remote learning and assessment through Zoom, Course dates: 24th, 25th, 26th February 2025 via Zoom 09.00-17.00 each day. Course includes manual, tutor led training, certification and assessment fees. The course provides the theory behind pool plant operations and maintenance, as well as providing learners with information on best practice principles and information on health, safety and legal responsibilities. The course is predominantly classroom based, with some practical pool plant tasks to ensure learners have the skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for the role. The following units are covered within this qualification: Principles of Healthy and Hygienic Pool Water Principles of Pool Water Testing Principles of Disinfection, Pool Chemistry and Dosing in Pool Plant Operations Principles of Mechanical Pool Plant Operations Swimming Pool Heating, Ventilation and Energy Efficiency Management Practices and Health and Safety in Plant Candidate requirements: Candidates must have a stable internet connection, and access to a webcam and audio, Candidates must have access to a Pool Water Testing Photometer or Comparator to undertake a practical demonstration on PH, free Cl2 and Total CL2.
